How
does Psyche Mapping work?
Many years ago, I realised I could see what was going on for someone on an
emotional and psychological level without having direct evidence like
experiencing their behaviour or spending time with them. I realised that
if I focused on the person and closed my eyes, I could see 'pictures' that gave
me information about their psycho-emotional state and whatever dynamics were
operating for that person. These dynamics were about how they related to
themselves, their external world and in their relationships. Together
with my training as a psychotherapist, I am able to see and interpret this map
and provide you with information, tools and strategies that will allow you to
integrate and work through what is not serving you or what is out of balance.
Do I need to send a
photo?
No, I don't need a photo, as I am able to access your map by focusing my mind
on you.
Will I feel anything?
No, you shouldn't feel anything.
Do you see everything about
me? Can I keep things private?
I do not see your specific thoughts or what you have or haven't done. I
see energetic patterns that reflect your psycho-emotional state and how it
might be currently out of balance and what you can do to clear the imbalances
and blockages.
Can you see maps of other
people in my life if I ask you to?
I cannot share that information with you as they are not my client.
However, I am able to share with you information that is available on how you
might be impacting another person and how that might reflect back to you as a
result.
Is it intrusive?
No it is no more intrusive than when you can tell how your partner or child is
in a bad mood without them saying. That knowing just comes to you.
In the same way, when I 'look' at your map, information comes to my awareness
about your map.
Is Psyche Mapping a form of spiritual healing?I would not say that Psyche Mapping is
'spiritual healing' in the way that you might expect someone else to do the
work for you or to 'take away the problem' for you. Psyche Mapping is a
form of energy work - accessing the quantum field for information. This
process has the potential to enable shifts in you but the real work still needs
to be done by you within the therapy sessions and in between sessions.
This 'work' could include things like becoming aware of your own behavioural
patterns and emotional dynamics; feeling feelings that you have avoided feeling
or disconnected from; learning new skills that will allow you to function
better; etc.
